| From Rome or Milan get on the A1
highway and exit at the Valdichiana tollbooth. Get on the Bettolle-Perugia
speedway, direction Perugia and get off at the Cortona-San Lorenzo
exit (about 5 miles down the road). At the exit follow signs
for Cortona and take a left turn, direction Montecchio. Once
in the village of Montecchio follow signs for Casa Elena. |
| The nearest train station is in
Camucia, although most trains generally stop in Terontola, about
6 miles away from Cortona. From the Terontola station you will
need to take a cab. |
